Private lessons at the Academy are a very special opportunity reserved for adults or for students who have met the pre-requisite requirements and earned their place in a private lesson.

Acting Class-Teens
with Mrs. Knight
Acting Class for Teens is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
Our class goal is to cultivate young actor’s creative souls, provide them with opportunities to break into the entertainment industry and teach them the skills to become an exceptional actor.
The class is a 14 week session geared toward students ages 13 & up.
Subject Areas Include:
Auditions, Dramatic Studies, Self-Tapes, Industry Terminology, Resume Development and Agent Acquisition.
Guitar Class-All Ages
with Jacob Woody
Beginner Guitar Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Jacob Woody.
The class is geared toward students of all ages. Very young children are encouraged to being their musical journey in the Nifty Notes classes. Parents are welcome and encourage to register along with their child. Adults are welcome to join.
This is a 14 week session where students will develop basic musicianship skills as they learn to read notes, count and learn to play tab, chords, and various strumming patterns.
Nifty Notes #1
with Mrs. Knight
Nifty Notes Class #1 is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Mrs. Knight.
Nifty Notes is a 3 part music immersion and exploration programming in which we teach all the beginner musical concepts such as reading notes, counting and basic musicianship skills while learning up to 10 different instruments.
Nifty Notes #1 is a 14 week session created for students ages 4-7 years. Parents are welcome to attend class along with their child.
Students will study piano, voice, deskbells and the ukulele.
Nifty Notes #2

Nifty Notes Class #2 is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Mrs. Knight.
Nifty Notes is a 3 part music immersion and exploration programming in which we teach all the beginner musical concepts such as reading notes, counting and basic musicianship skills while learning up to 10 different instruments.
Nifty Notes #2 is a 14 week session created for students ages 4-7 years. Parents are welcome to attend class along with their child.
Students will continue to study piano, voice, and will begin to study recorder and bucket drumming.
Nifty Notes #3

Nifty Notes Class #3 is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Mrs. Knight.
Nifty Notes is a 3 part music immersion and exploration programming in which we teach all the beginner musical concepts such as reading notes, counting and basic musicianship skills while learning up to 10 different instruments.
Nifty Notes #3 is a 14 week session created for students ages 4-7 years. Parents are welcome to attend class along with their child.
Students will continue to study piano, voice, and will being to study the harmonica, body percussion and the boomwhackers.
Piano Class-Kids
with Lily Bach
Beginner Piano Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by student teaching apprentice, Lily Bach.
The class is geared toward students ages 7-12 years. Parents are welcome to register along with their child.
This is a 14 week session where students will develop basic musicianship skills as they learn to read notes, count and play songs with both hands.
Voice Class-Kids
with Mrs. Knight
Beginner Voice Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
The class is geared toward students ages 7-12 years. Parents are welcome to register along with their child.
This is a 14 week session where students will develop basic musicianship skills as they learn to read notes, count and sing songs in harmony and also learn the art of solo singing.

The class is geared toward students ages 6-11 years.
This is a 14 week session where students will develop basic musicianship skills as they learn to read notes, count and play songs on piano and percussion instruments.
Senior Songbirds Class
with Mrs. Knight
Senior Songbirds Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
The class is geared toward seniors ages 55 and older.
This is a 14 week session where seniors will develop basic musicianship skills as they learn to read notes, count and sing songs in harmony and also learn the art of solo singing.
Intro to Art Class-Kids
with Mara Bestge and Lily Bach
Intro to Art Class for Kids is a 50 minute weekly class taught by student teachers Mara Bestge and Lily Bach.
Our class goal is to cultivate young artists creative souls, provide them with opportunities to explore their creativity and the skills to produce excellent art.
The class is a 14 week session geared toward students ages 7 yrs & up.
Musical Munchkins Class
with Mrs. Knight
The Musical Munchkins Class is a 50 minute weekly class taught by Director, Leah Knight.
The class is geared toward students ages 3-4 or 5 years. Parents or care givers are required to attend the class with their child. Instrument rental is included in the tuition.
This is a 14 week session where toddlers are immersed in all things music. Listening, dancing, singing and playing as we guide them through developmental milestones and encourage their emotional and intellectual growth through music.
Fiddle Workshop
with Mrs. Knight & Paul Rohweller
The Fiddle Workshops are an annual class taught by Director, Leah Knight and fiddler, Paul Rohweller.
This set of workshops is made for students ages 5 & up. Parents or care givers are required to attend the class with their child if they are under 6 years old.
Violins are available to rent or purchase.
This is a 6 week course where students will be immersed in all things fiddle and music!
